THE UNBELIEVABLE YEAR 2020

We welcomed the year 2020 with lots of happiness.Everyone was happy seeing another year with the Lords favour.we began the year very well as schools ,collages and universities opened. It was very nice reaching 2020.
Personally, I prepared to go back to Mombasa where I was persuing my diploma course in mass communication at the Technical University of Mombasa. The month of January was cool but sunny.Everybody was nowhere to be seen they all had resumed to school.

I remember when we were showering the year 2020,we didn't know what it had carried. Many churches all over the country were happy showering the year 2020.
January, started very well and ended well too. When February began it found me in Mombasa learning.Mombasa was very hot but because that's the nature of the place I had to adapt to it.As February was moving ahead we heard of Covid_19 the corona virus disease.

Unfornately,we didn't know about the disease though learnt of it existence through the radio, our smartphone, the TV and through internet. As it trickled into our minds, the more we continued learning about covid_19 through the social media the more  it gained  momentum into our minds hence each and every student was rest assured that the disease was a reality .

The existence of the disease we learnt that it spreads like bush fire and becomes a worry to both developed and third word countries.
We were thus warned to take precaution while staying at homes because it was a killer disease.

The deadly Covid _19 disease enables Kenyan's to stay at home .Schools were closed due to its existence no interaction s,no movements,no shaking of hands,no hugging these were some of the precautions Kenyan's had to take.
When you opened the TV it was all about the deadly virus. Each day,the cabinet secretary of Health Mutai Kagwe briefed Kenyan's on the daily basis number of the  people infected with virus .The cabinet secretary emphasized on sanitizing our hands and maintaining hygiene. On the transport side ,vehicles carrying 14passangesw were reduced to a maximum of 8 passanges.

However, each day the number of the infected ones increased. The situation made the President of the Republic of Kenya Hon Uhuru Kenyatta to put  a curfew across the country .
It was a dusk to dawn curfew between 7pm to 5pm.u
The order which was announced by the Inspector General of police was that anyone found loitering around the curfew time was to be arrested and later arraigned in Court.
During the curfew  time everybody was quarantine in their homes until 5am in the morning.Vehicles were not seen moving during the curfew time too.
Until now the curfew is still going on from 7pm to 5am and Kenyans have obeyed the rule apart from some indisciplined Kenyans .All eyes are now on the Lord that he is the only one who can remove the pandemic disease away from us.
